Probably, some times plumbers connect the bathroom rad to the hot water instead of the central heating pipes. I have done this myself and it used to be normal practice. A tip! when you connect the rad back on, vent the air with the boiler off and check water pressure on boiler before starting boiler up.

If you drained the heating circuit, you will have no pressure and the boiler will not work. If you isolated the radiator at both ends to remove it, and left the water in the heating circuit and have not lost any pressure nothing should have changed!

depends how its been piped.
sounds like by taking the radiator off you have in fact broken the heating circuit.
Why did you take the rediator off, I usually just loosen it and swing it down to get behind it.

the water feeding your rads is in a sealed loop ,(which you will have to re/fill !! )but it does not affect your hot water supply that is comming from the mains !!!! you must have turned something off ???? sounds like you have turned off the boiler
