I was married for 7 yrs & now single by myself. My ex took care of all the cleaning so I got lazy over the last few years. Is there any videos out that can make me more enthused to clean?

I have lots of birds in the yard and want to feed them but when I put out a feeder, it spills and I get mice/rats that come around. (I live on a hill and so we have little field mice) but also sometimes a rat will come (gross). Does anyone know of a feeder that will not spill over? Something sturdy? Thanks!

My mailbox is located about 4 feet south of the end of my driveway on a busy 5 lane highway. I am afraid to get my mail!

I would like to move it just inside my driveway, right off the road. The mailcarrier could still just pull alongside to deliver, without getting out of his/her truck, and there is enough room to easily pull back into traffic.

My question is who do I talk to about this? Do I just go to my local post office... Will they be able to help me? Will they say 'no' without considering what I ask?

I have a new septic system. I have heard some plumbers say that adding Rid-X (or like products) is a waste of money because there are already plenty of bacteria in the tank. I have added about one box a month for these first few months...should I continue?

My clothes dryer is giving off hot air, but there is no lint coming out in the trap. It will dry really small loads, but there is no lint afterward. It will not dry a big load, like towels. They just get warm but stay damp. I think the lint trap is clogged or something. Any advice?

I painted the foyer and hallway upstairs burgandy. Home Depot told me to prime the walls first with dark primer, so I did.
The paint peeled off in large sections down to the dry wall when we removed the tape. The walls are uneven and I know I need to fix this before I can put my place up for sale. Help it is a nightmare!

I recently inherited a number of books, framed photos and pictures, and some antique furniture--all of which were stored in a basement for a number of years. All of it smells very musty, and spraying with odor neutralizer does absolutely nothing to remove the odor. Once the neutralizer scent wears off,the musty smell returns. Is there any way to eliminate it?

I'll be using yellow and white baloons to make "daisies" to hang around the walls. I'm going to have a cupcakes instead of a cake with single daisies on top of the white icing. I'll have real daisies in little white vases on the tables. How can I incoroporate a sky blue in there? Don't want it to be too Yellow and White.

I live in north London and have a small 20x20 garden - square shaped with beds on the edges. On part of these beds I put in daffodil and tulip bulbs last year and they are just starting to come up. I would like to have a pretty garden with flowers through out the year. I'd also like an apple tree to see apple blossoms - is it too late to plant one? This is my first house and first garden so I'm clue less.
How do I go about doing this - any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought it used from a couple that smoked in their home. It's thirty years old so it has thirty years worth of cigarette smoke odor in it. I've wiped all the wood down with PineSol and used Old English after it dried. I've also cleaned all the glass with an ammonia glass cleaner. I've even sprayed an air freshner inside of it. It still smells strongly of cigarette smoke everytime I open the glass door. Any suggestions?
