The rest of the house has been painted this very light pale yellow. When you walk in the front door there is a double door width opening to our living room on the right. Just beyond it is a double door width opening to our dining room. So you can see it from the living room. Our dining room has a white chair rail & the bottom half of it is that pale yellow color throught the rest of the house. I'd like to eventually get walnut/white furniture for the dining area.
We have a modern/contemporoary style & a red sectional in our living room. I was thinking of painting the dining room top half a dark red (not bright, I guess with brown mixed in) & the bottom half white w/ a white chair rail. I was concerned of having too much red tones in these areas. Would it make us feel tense or angry? Or would it flow nicely. I also considered a sage green or orange? It's just such a scary decision for me since we don't have a lot of $ to redo it if ugly. Also have khaki carpet in there.

Can 2 15A outlets be tapped together in a Y-connector so that a 20A battery charger can work?

We have an electric vehicle with a ZIVAN NG3 battery charger that requires 18-22 amps input. However, in Canada, most outlets are only 15A (15 amps.) Can a Y-connected extension cord, plugged into two electric outlets, be used to power the battery charger?

I would like to install a PA button for my house alarm, but I dont want the standard white plastic box (or brass etc...) with the big red button on top. I would like a slim line version but I am struggling to find where I can get them from. Help ?!?

I could probably install it in the kitchen, or maybe even a closet, but don't know how to set up the water supply or drainage... I also know I have to be aware of ventilation for the dryer.

I thought we were buying a water saving shower head but the one we purchased a few months ago seems to run out all the hot water in one shower (which leaves me in the freezing cold!). Can anyone tell me what a good gallons per minute number is? Thanks!

Its been almost 2 years since I joyfully gave up my small bedroom to my son in return for the master bedroom. I FINALLY got a bed after two years of sleeping on the living room couch and now I'm ready to beautify my newly painted and newly furnished room.
MY QUESIONS IS....
I have all kinds of magnets and magnetic things I want to use somewhere in my room but I have no idea how to incorporate a piece of metal generous enough so that my awsome magnets are noticable...
What can I put in my Bright Green room thats metal but not trashy looking???

I need to practice dancing in a room upstairs but a hamster couldn't tiptoe across the floor without insane creakage.

I guess the floorboards need to be replaced? Or just fixed.. ?
Should I get carpet or some kind of wooden flooring?
I was considering wood because I need to be able to move very freely but I hate laminate flooring. I don't know if it would be noisier than bouncing on carpet? I think regular wood flooring would be too expensive but let me know if you think that is a good option.

Keep in mind this is purely about noise and movement level, not looks.

Hard to find much information about it, but since I came across it on the internet I would like to give it a try. Seems interesting. It's not very common so I can't find growing tips - particularly if it would do fine in a container which is what I would like.
Anybody have experience with it?
The following link is the plant in question.

I mean the Exact process for making a complete japanese wall scroll ... ...... i know the general plan but not the exact process which i coudn't found till now...

the general plan : ( as found on the net search )

-Your artwork is ready Or Do your calligraphy on xuan (rice) paper .
-Once the art is complete, the rice paper is mounted (laminated) to a few more sheets of rice paper and some silk brocade cloth is also laminated around the outside of the artwork ( how???)

-This cloth then becomes a scroll when a wooden roller is added to the bottom, and a frame and rigging is added to the top.

i need the complete exact process of the making with details...
thanks .......

The cabinet is 69 inches from the floor. But it is only 12 inches deep! The microwave I bought is 15 inches deep. Will this matter? And will I have enough clearance from the top of the stove? Very concerned, the installers will be here soon. Microwave came with a package deal with all new stainless steel appliances. Very small kitchen and could use the extra space that the over the stove microwave will give me the extra room.
