I want to starch my work uniforms and to my understanding you are supposed to add starch in the last rinse cycle when washing. I have a front load washer so you can't just open it up when it's time to add the starch. Since I don't use fabric softener can I just put the starch in my fabric softener compartment on my washer and it will add it at the last cycle like it would the fabric softener?

I have 2. The first is about 2 years old. It has stems with leaves growing on it. The other has leaves at the bottom with the origional stem and a couple of newer stems coming out that are kind of crooked looking. I need to know how to get them to bloom again and general maintenance of them.

Is it lame to have your soapdishes and towel bar a different color than the rest of you shower tile? The tile I want doesn't have the soap dishes, etc..., just corner peices and bullnose peices. Shouldn't everything match?

I live in Michigan and we just had a major snow storm which my snow blower cannot seem to move. It's like everything gets clogged up in the chute and doesn't want to be discharged. The snow is fairly dry but deep. I believe we got between 6 and 10 inches. And I did adjust the engagement cable. Is this snow beyond what this machine can handle?? Help, my back is brealing.

The original oil tank for my house is 35 years old and buried in the ground. The fuel lines run under the house and then connect to the furnace. I will have to replace the oil tank because it is causing problems with my new furnace. It is causing an air pocket, and occasionally clogging the fuel lines due to the particles that have accumulated in it over time.
Can you still buy oil tanks that can be buried in the ground? I'd hate to get one and have it above ground. Anyone know?

i have roses that i want to keep. i just got them yesterday but when they die i want to be able to keep them and put them either in a box or keep them out when they are all dried up. I want them to look as good as possible. I heard that spraying them with hairspray helps, but the last time i did that it didnt work out so well. I was wondering if you have any tips on how to dry them to make them look as good as possible and wont be too dry so they will just fall apart.

Its driving me crazy, I get a white filmy residue on everything. It doesn't wash off. Vinagar helps a little but not really effective. I can't afford a water softner system right now. My shower and toilets are a nightmare to clean!
