Tilex does not work, best thing for mold in shower is a mixture of bleach and water. Mist on the area. If it remains, rub Soft Scrub with bleach into the area and let set overnight. In the morning rinse it off well. Be sure to have the vent going when cleaning with bleach

Hi,
First you have to determine if it is under the sealant around the shower. If so you have to completely remove it. As a professional cleaner there really is not a way that I have found to completely remove the mold that is growing in your shower or tub. Be sure once all the sealant is removed to inspect the area to determine if the mold is growing under the tile/wall or any other surface around the shower. If it is you will have to remove the damaged areas. If all looks well, wash all the affected areas well with bleach. The areas you just cleaned must be completely dried before replacing the sealant. If you are in a hurry, you can use a hair dryer to speed up the drying time.

Good luck. Mold is a health concern and if you are unable to rid your shower area of the mold I would suggest you contact a professional to help you with this problem.

Oh my goodness, do not mix bleach with comet or any other chemical not even dish soap. Mixing bleach with other common household cleansers puts off toxic fumes!!!! I guess most of these people do not realize how many people are admitted to the ER everyday from doing this. It causes severe breathing problems. Go with the soft scrub around the edges, let it set there for a few minutes, and use a little bit of elbow grease if you have too.

Make up a mixture of comet cleanser and liquid bleach with a little bit of water . It should be a pasty consistancy. Rub it on and let it set for about an hour .......rinse off. If ther is any left put liquid bleach in a spray bottle and spray directly on the stain. Wait a little bit then rinse with clear water. That should do it.

spray bleach on them. see how that works and then try scrubbing with an old tooth brush. then bleach again. if you keep on top of it a quick spritz with bleach once a week really works well
