Is it lame to have your soapdishes and towel bar a different color than the rest of you shower tile? The tile I want doesn't have the soap dishes, etc..., just corner peices and bullnose peices. Shouldn't everything match?

they don't have to match. Go save with white, or find one that compliments your tile color. Wall mounted ones can be coordinated with your faucets and stuff.

I think it would look just fine as long as you use something that matches your accessories or wall paper wall paint... Say if you are using white tile but want to add black and pink accessories I would add black towel bars and soap dish. However if your tile is say beige you wouldn't want white. Make sure that there is a contrast. You may want to add a border of tile that matches the soap dish and towel bar. This would look very nice and would tie everything together.

Everything doesn't have to match. Just make sure things compliment each other. For instance, if you had black and white tile & wall paper you could add red towels, etc. and the room would look just fine.
