I have three young trees (lemon, Lime, and Orange) outside in my yeard. The lime has had many blooms, but no fruit has made it past pea size. The lemon has only had 3 blossoms in 3 years. The orange has not had any blossoms since I first planted it. I fertilize every ~3 months with a citrus fertilizer. How can I encourage fruit production? Also am interested in remedies for leaf miners.

It's for a step light. The writing on the fixture that showed the model number and watt size is faded so much that I couldn't read it.I was told that it needs to be the exact wattage as the original by a salesman. Why can't I use a different watt bulb? What would happen if I use a different watt bulb?
Thanks.

Many people say that 220v is more economical. Why? Don't we need 2 wires of 110 each? How can it be more economical by using double the power?

I'am about to replace a faucet (duel handel) in my bathroom and I have a couple of problems. First off is that the water supply lines that connect to the faucet are metal and I dont know how to disconnect them from the gate valves i tried to unscrew them but they seem to be connected to the gate valve tightly. Second is that anyone know of a way to get the faucet support clamps out. Mine are plastic and I cant get them loose at all. any help is appreciated

I need paint that would apply to metal without a problem. Also it would not be easily scratched off. Any ideas?

This item was a bad wedding gift, and appears to be from the '70's. It sits on a small marble base and is about 22" high. The center support that runs the length of the object is made of three sections of orange, faceted plastic or acrylic. The top is brass(?)-like with arms coming out to the sides. These arms have sort of an elaborate design with a tiny cluster of grapes on either side. Two yellow-orange glass dishes molded like sunflowers are suspended by chains that hook to the arms of this object and hang on either side. It looks similar to a tall, old-fashioned scale, but does not move at all, and is definitely not a scale! Thus far, neither friends or parents can figure out what it is. It's quite hideous, but my husband and I would love to know what it was used for. Candy dishes? Fruit dishes? However, this thing is so top-heavy, it really wouldn't be good for holding anything... Please enlighten us! I can e-mail a photograph to anyone who is interested.

I have had my house done up at last, but can no longer duck the housework, cooking etc., as I now have a kitchen and dining room. This is not a joke, I need to get up and get through some kind of routine which I haven't done since separating from my ex ten years ago. I have a lovely partner, but he is fed up with me. And no wonder. But now I have a nice house, I really have to pull my weight. To make matters worse, he is something of a work aholic and shows me up!!!!! HELP

I spilled scented wax from a melting dish on my brand new Ugg Boots and I can't get the oil from the wax out. I did the brown bag and hair dryer thing to lift the wax, but there are still dark stains on them from the oils in the wax. Can anyone offer suggestions?
