My wife and I got a membership when we first got married. It was expensive, but since we were buying a house, we figured that it would be worth it.
Unfortunately, with the down payment on the mortgage and all of the other expenses, we weren't able to take advantage of it.
We're better off now and are considering going back to them, but we're going to wait until we move into a new house. There are good deals, but we just don't need anything right now.
In the commercial, they show a guy that bought crystal wine glasses for $12 each when they retail for $40 each. Wow, that's great. When my wife and I joined 10 years ago, the membership fee was $350/yr so he didn't even make his money back on that one. Who knows what it costs now...
