i am building a 12x12 outdoor hot ub room, post and beam construction.the screened openings will be about 6 feet wide by about 4 feet high.I am looking for way to enclose the screen openings during bad weather, winter months etc,and still be able to see out them, but would like to be able to take them off when hot tub is in use .Any ideas on how to build or is there a window product out there available to buy

we did this......had a local window/glass company make the windows to the sizes we have.....just a large fixed glass.....they r held in place with wing nuts on the outside and a simple piece of stop on the inside.....but they will fog up in the winter from the heat from the spa so i installed 2 12" x 12" roof vents and it solved the problem......

Something to consider. Assuming your hot tub room is weatherproof (since it has screens in the summer), I would take the screens out in the winter and put nothing there.

Hot tub aficionados love to use them in the cold weather. They particularly enjoy a snowy day. After all, they say, except for the mad dash from the house, your body is submerged in warm water.

all you need is some firring strips and a roll of heavy plastic. make a box frame to the right dimensions and strip nail the plastic on to it and voila!!! instant removable wall.oh strip nail is when you roll the edge of plastic around a strip of firring and then nail it down. oh you might want to add some screening on the out side of it just for protection, but that is up to you. goo luck

you could install hinged windows and when you use the tub just swing then back and secure the windows to the building
