I'am about to replace a faucet (duel handel) in my bathroom and I have a couple of problems. First off is that the water supply lines that connect to the faucet are metal and I dont know how to disconnect them from the gate valves i tried to unscrew them but they seem to be connected to the gate valve tightly. Second is that anyone know of a way to get the faucet support clamps out. Mine are plastic and I cant get them loose at all. any help is appreciated

if your affraid to really wrench down on the gate valves turn them off in another area of the house that way if you do break them using a good long handled wrench for better leverage you wont flood anything and for the plastic nuts take a screwdriver and a small hammer and just work them off a little bit at a time using the little nubs on the nut itself or if possable remove the whole sink for greater ease

it must be lots of distinctive issues that there truly is not any use attempting to assemble information to narrate to a plumber you in basic terms might desire to wreck down and phone one ,extremely some the subject concerns that come to my techniques are clogged warmth capture nipple, water softner failure ( in case you have one ) valve on water heater replaced into accidently close off ,a specialist truly has to take a check out the region to determine what needs to be achieved ,there is an obstruction interior the pipe someplace ,do assume to pay a minimum provider call value for a physically powerful diagnosis, you gotta pay for a professionals time whether its just to get an estimate for extra artwork, some businesses grant unfastened onsite estimates yet will each so often exagerate the genuine subject just to get a larger sale
