Bar top support. Is it necessary to add brackets in addition to the plywood board for a 10 foot granite top.?

about 1 feet of the granite top (with the plywood board under it) will hang out.

i would add brackets myself.......but on an average u should b ok if it hangs with no brackets.....if u had the tops installed ask the installer does he warrant the tops with no supports......
