I live in the deep south. I am 34 wks pregnant and have difficulty walking and keeping my balance particularly on the steps in front of my home.
We have already had some temperatures that have dipped down into the teens this year and I suspect that probably this year we will have another ice storm.
My question is for you that live up north. What is the best things to put on my steps to help secure my hold if we are to have an ice storm this year? Sand, salt? Now I am specifically speaking of ice covering my steps not necessarily snow.
To be honest I have been very concerned about this since I have already been having such problems climbing them.

This is for a shed 30 feet from my house. Need outlets and couple of lights. Light use requirements, just computer, telescope, tv and maybe plug-in space heater at times. Buried cable. I have one breaker space left in box in house.

Does anyone know how the membership works? Do you make payments on the membership fee?
My fiance and I are going to get the grand tour next week, but they won't give you any information up front. I know the membership is expensive, but I also know we'll need it for the addition we're doing to our house. You have to decide if you want the membership when you go, so I wanted to know what exactly I was looking at up front.
Thank you!!

I painted a wall with Currant Jam- it's a maroonish color. It came out crappy with too many dark spots. Does anyone have any suggestions? If I keep going over it, the dark spots will just get darker. How do I start over? Can I sand it off?
