Hi,

When I lived in Missouri I had so many roaches I thought they were going to carry the refrigerator away. I was living in a triplex and went to the hardware store and bought "Roach Pruf" (I think that is the way you spell it) It took about a week or so and the roaches were gone. Side note: Not only did I get rid of the roaches in my unit I also rid the other two.

No particular brand name, I think they're all very similar. But you need a bait-type poison that they'll carry back into their little hiding areas to help poison the others. Perimeter sprays and "motels" will not be anywhere near as effective.

While you're at it, you might want to see if mice, squirrels, etc. have got into your house. Very often, as they nest, their accumulated food stores and waste will attract roaches and other little nasties. They might have moved in while you were away.

In the end, a reputable exterminator might be in order. They know how to do the job at minimal risk to your health and well-being.

I there is a Pest Stop store in your area go there. They sell exterminator quality products to the general public and give advice on how best to get rid of your problem. If there is not one in your area, try Spectracide Home Insect Control. It comes in a gallon sprayer and cost about 9.00

Best thing I've found is Bengal roach spray. It's not a "wet" spray. One treatment lasts for months. Not carried by a lot of places, I get it a Lowe's.
I live in FL, so you know I know roaches!!!

That powder stuff you sprinkle around, combined with good quality roach traps works. If you have a serious problem, an exterminator would be needed.

Boric acid, it is very effective when used properly for killing cockroaches and most other insects. You can also get a house lizard, they are natural enemies and will eat them. More information at http://tinyurl.com/ofxkk

Boric Acid works well, also spray the perimeter of your property with home defense, it has always worked for me

I think you need a exterminator. Check your house to see if something is drawing the bugs to
