It's simply a matter of choice. They have basically the same products where sinks are concerned. Priced about the same. If you were looking for lumber, particularly pressure treated lumber, I would say Lowe's. Their PT lumber is treated at .40, whereas Home Depot's lumber is treated at .25. Basically this means that the wood is 15% better treated for termites and UV protection, and will outlast the lesser brand. But for your needs, either place will be good for you.

Lowes is a much better company. Their prices are all about $4-5 less than anything you can find at Home Depot.

Lowes Hands Down! Home Depot is always jumbled and nothing is in the right place. Also usually the employees have no idea how to answer my questions. Lowes is clean and well organized. Of course that is in my area, your area might be just the opposite.

Depends on which is more convenient. We have one house closer to a Lowe's. The other house is close to a Home Depot. So depending on which house needs something and where we are it's an either/or situation.

They are both pretty good and will prolly have what you need. When it comes to plumbing I'd say go to the Depot. Unless of course Lowe's is much closer to you.
