I've heard that many people now hack their showers — or customize them, to increase water-flow. I know that you can take your shower head down, pull the washer out with a screwdriver, and remove the offending intrusion that is restricting water flow. BUT - I can't find anything to remove? what am I looking for exactly? Is the washer the black rubber circle where you screw the pieces together?

My sister has been told by a plumber that you can not fit a bathroom onto existing wall tiles and whole bathroom will need to be retiled. Is this true? Also, how much, ballpark figure here, to fit a bog standard 3 piece bathroom with no pipework needing moved? Just your standard size (approx 6ft by 6ft) bathroom.

We live in South West Michigan, have a driveway wide enough for a two car garage but that isn't very long and have to clear the sidewalk in front of our home also. It seems to me that an electric snow thrower would be ok... especially for the price. But what do you think?
