Should I try cleaning off the bleach with a cloth, or can I just leave the bleach on it like that and everything will be fine?

Don't do either one Miss: In the lab we use a ten percent solution to kill bacteria and other germs, you could say so...your into overkill.

Make a bucket full of warm water and about a cap full of bleach to a gallon. Scrub the area good then flush it or make sure you get it all off so it's not slippery when wet. Then scrub it clean again with a little Dawn and warm water, again flush it well.
Allow it to dry and spray it with Lysol to kill any bacteria you missed. Your not going to get away without elbow grease, Be sure to wear rubber gloves and a face mask and even glasses wouldn't hurt. Remember bleach is a whitener so, your clothes...be careful.

Too much bleach defeats the purpose. Three tablespoons to a gallon of water will kill germs effectively and a hand brush will easily romove the mildew with a little help from your elbow.

straight bleach may be too harsh for the grout if it's not sealed properly.
try Soft Scrub Gel with Bleach. Works great.
