OK- So I just became interested in growing things and am particularly interested in veggies. I live just north of Houston and it never really gets below 40F at night. If it does, it warms right up as soon as the sun comes out. I am needing something that is relativley easy to grow, it seems I am pretty good at killing whatever I plant. I have a garlic plant that is doing pretty well, my poor chile peppers never had a chance. Can you make any suggestions? Needs to be pretty hardy and difficult to kill, as I am just a beginner.

Bought an old house in August. We didn't realize it at the time, but the gas was turned off to the water tank. The kitchen spigot did not have great pressure, but wasn't horrible either. We ran the water quite a bit before we realized the tank wasn't fired up. After the gas was turned on (4 days later), we began losing pressure in the kitchen spigot and now only have a dribble. The pressure in bathroom remains the same as before, but the hot water spigots had not been turned on in there. I am guessing debris from the tank got into the kitchen lines, but not sure. I have removed the screen on the spigot and that made no difference. Any ideas? Thanks!

I would like a vintage coffee table for my new living room. It would be great if it had rounded edges and nice details... but anything is better than nothing. Also, not too expensive!

Can anyone tell me what to be careful of if you have aluminum wiring in your house. I was told that if the wall gets hot, I need to tighten the screws of the inside switch. Is this true and if I didn't, would it actually cause a fire in the wall. If this is true, how often does it loosen?

My husband and I were going to renovate our garage to a room. we filled out the permit paperwork and we did not pay the fees but we never did the room because it was too expensive. Now the building inspector is coming out bothering us to see it. I made an appt w/ the inspector for tomorrow but we do have a half wall up making the garage 2 seperate rooms. One is a garage and one is a pantry. The partitian wall is made out of sheetrock. There is a door. Does anyone if that will violate any laws?

I'm considering a Friedrich or Whirlpool...according to Consumer Reports. I already know that Sharper Image-Ionic Breeze and Orick filterless cleaners are all just gimmicks.
