This is our first fall/winter with gas heat. We've lit the pilot light on the central heat twice. Both times we waited about 20 minutes and then turned it on at the thermostat. The ....I guess they're called "burners".... lit and burned for a few minutes. Then almost immediately when the blower came on they all went out, including the pilot light. Same situation both times. Is it something we're doing wrong, or should we call the gas company?

I have a honey oak desk and a matching bookcase then this bedframe that's a different wood color like its lighter than the desk color then I have a closet thing that is a more vibrant version of my bed frame. So basically three different colors of wood so far. I want a new vanity, night stand, and dresser, I was wondering what color of wood would look nice or if I just should get all the same wood for all my furniture b/c it kinda bothers me that I have different woods in my room Idk what to do! And most important it all needs to be a very reasonable price.
