I have a honey oak desk and a matching bookcase then this bedframe that's a different wood color like its lighter than the desk color then I have a closet thing that is a more vibrant version of my bed frame. So basically three different colors of wood so far. I want a new vanity, night stand, and dresser, I was wondering what color of wood would look nice or if I just should get all the same wood for all my furniture b/c it kinda bothers me that I have different woods in my room Idk what to do! And most important it all needs to be a very reasonable price.

Generally all grains of wood match all other grains of wood. However, since you already have three colors in there already, I would personally get those next three pieces as a set, or at the very least all in the same color. IMHO, I am thinking I would go with the honey oak color since the bed and closet thing are large pieces while it would make sense to have the other smaller pieces kind of be the same. The cheapest quality furniture is at IKEA (ikea.com if you don't have one near you.) There is also affordable furniture by Saunders http://www.sauder.com/ Both will require you to assemble the pieces.

Some designers like to mix a couple of wood colors some do not. I always loved my wood to match, my mom had too many different wood colors as I was growing up and I found it so annoying. If you like all one color pick the one you like best and make it happen. You can get different pieces at a time so you have some money in your pocket or go antiquing. I have all dark cherry wood that matches and looks great but acquired it at different times. Maybe you can take down the closet thing and sell the rest so you can get your choice.

You could choose the pieces you really like, leave them the way they are, and paint, antique or "pickle" the other wood. You wouldn't have to paint the entire surface, perhaps just accent it with colour that would take your eye away from the different colour wood and focus on the new decoration. But don't consider this if the pieces are true antiques or on their way to becoming antiques.
