I would live where I live right now but I would be able to go ahead and finish the changes to my home. My husband and I have been making changes to our home for a couple of years now and we have been raising 2 toddler grandchildren since their birth. So some of the changes that were made before there arrival in our home are now having to be changed again. I would also have one of the largest wooden play sets in my back yard that you have ever seen and I would sit on my back porch(when it is completed ) and watch the children have a blast.

I would probably have a house in Maine or Rhode Island in the summer months and then travel during the winter months to my favorite paridisios.....meaning my fav hot spots in the world..........for six months of the year I would live on the coast of Maine.....and then travel.....I like to meet people from other countries and learn their cultures so this would work for me.
My house would not be overly extravagant but would possess a sense of tranquility and style perhaps like an antiquish beach home.....I love antiques and old things so my home would be full of some simple yet timely details from the past....not extravagant at all.....all in good taste....everything would be open to the beach........and most important.......I would need to see the ocean from my bedroom and most of the home....and at night hear the sound of it.....and wake up to a beautiful sunrise even though I'm living in the east coast.....so of course I would have a most magnificient sunset!

Ooh, the Seychelles are very nice ... but I would want to live in the Caribbean or somewhere around there (yes, hurricanes would suck, but dumb people like me just want an island), on my own private island (not a HUGE one), and I would have a HUGE house, but not one that would really stand out. I would want it to look like an island home, but obviuosly the inside would be very nice. And a huge deck on the house to look at the ocean at night. And the house close to the beach of course, but not so close it would be destroyed by storm waves. Hmm. . .I'd have my own weight room with glass walls/windows that looked out at the ocean. And an outdoor basketball court, an indoor court, and an outdoor pool (who needs the ocean? :) ). Highly technological house. Can't think of much more right now, unless I wanted to go on forever (seriously).

Oh, and there would be a "Zen" (I don't really know what to call it) room; fountains, vines, other things to make it look like a stone temple. It would be a place for me to relax. Maybe like how the Room of A Thousand Fountains is described in Star Wars.

I would live on the South Carolina coast in a house with a polished marble driveway, Emerald columns in front, gold steps up to my front door of finest teak, with Swarovsky crystal windows and chandeliers. My floors would be of Ruby, Topaz, Diamond, Emerald, Onyx, and other precious and semi-precious stones with the finest Persian rugs thrown around. My furniture would be made by the finest craftsmen in the world of the finest materials in the world. My bed would be of the lightest feather down. I would eat off of the finest China and drink the finest wine from the best crystals. I would have a large olympic sized swimming pool of the purest water. My house would be made of the finest marble and would be near the ocean. I would have my landscaping done with exotic plants, flowers and trees (bouganvillea, orchids, Jasmine, lavender, roses,& more). I would have a walkway to the beach of the purest, finest white sand on earth. It would have an indoor pool and recreation room with a spa. I would have tennis courts and horses. I would have Harley-D. motorcycles and vehicles such as a Lexus, a fine motorhome, a Suburban and more. I could go on but you get the idea.

I deserve it and I am worth it!!

I would live in the English countryside in a small thach-roofed cottage with a round red door, and a stream running alongside...with a properly unruly English garden, not just flowers but veggies and herbs too...it would look very "Thomas Kinkade-ish"...bike propped up against the house...lightning bugs and humming birds buzzing around...the house wld be small...i wld say 1 BR but I suppose i should like to have guest sometime, so then I need 2 very small bedrooms and some changeable-to-bed living room furniture. definitely need a fireplace, with a cutout for a stone oven (to bake perfect bread, crusty outside, tender inside)...and finally, would have to have some sort of "magical" secret room to hide away in maybe under a floorboard or a hidden attic....

Northern Italy, and my house would not be huge but it would be welcoming and have lots of land around it for my family and pets to enjoy. I'd have a big kitchen with loads of cupboards and a big dining area for family to come and enjoy lots of food and drink. Flooring would be all brick, concrete, or tile, ceilings would be wood, walls would be warm colors. Windows would be big. I'd go out in the morning and pick my breakfast from the fruit trees and get my freshly baked and delivered bread from my mailbox. OH there's a spot in particular your question has made me think of, but alas, its not to be just now!!

I live inland . I use to live on the east coast. I love the ocean. So that is where I would like to live. I would like most any house not to large but it would have to have large windows so I could sit and watch the sea. All my ancestors were from Marblehead,MA. which is located on the sea.
