Okay so my sink is clogged up and I bought Max Gel from Liquid plumber and it did not work. Both of my kitchen sinks are like this. There is no standing water in them, that slowly went down but there is about an inch of water in the bottom of both?? Help?!?!?

Get a pail that will fit under the "S" trap then get a wrench or pliers large enough to unscrew the flange nut on the bottom pipe first, slowly and, let the water drain out, be careful, you had some acid in there, remember?

Now unscrew the nut and then the top one, take the trap out, dump it out and whatever is in there, if you can look down the pipe going into the wall and see if there's anything in there. If it's full and now run all over, then your plug is in the street to your house, call the plumber or.. Save all this trouble and call "Roto-Rooter" they'll do all this is a few minutes and save you a lot of trouble.

Try this.....take the stopper and put it on one side of the sink....hold it down with your hand and plunge the other side at the same time......use a power plunger not one of those cheap pink ones.....Keep in mind that the trap underneath could come apart due to the pressure you apply with the plunger....put a bucket or some towels or both under there just in case.....if this doesnt work then you will need to call a plumber to cable the drain unless you wanna tackle that yourself......but never use the drano or liquid plumber.....harsh chemicals damage drains over time!

The drains are clog further down the line. You can try "snaking" the lines yourself, but I would suggest calling in a plumber. He/she will have a power "snake" available and it'll make short work of the problem.

Hi my hubby owns a plumbing business and very limited times that drain cleaner works i suggest going to the yellow pages and try to find a plumber that is licensed and insured and does not charge an arm and a leg we live in kansas city and we charge 89.50 for a sink line. i dont know what the rates are where you live. hope this helps.

Try baking soda and vinegar.. it will have the same effect as when you were younger and did a volcano in school! It's a little messy but it works.
