My Grandma is kinda broke this year and we are trying to put together some crafty ideas for her to get everyone...nothing that has to do w/ painting, decorating,or really "crafty" things.. I just need some ideas that she can throw together.. like scrapbooks of our family tree, or decorations that she can buy a few cheap things and just throw them together

How about getting index cards and writing a family recipe for each household and putting it in a frame from the dollar store, It would be an instant heirloom and since it was in Grandma's writing irreplaceable. She could use paper lunch bags(they make them predesigned with a holiday motif) and put a few pictures in each of them with a short memory about them written on the back. The most valuable thing she can offer is her own story - have her speak it into a recording then duplicate it for the family it will be so precious now and even more so when she is gone. Hope this helps and good luck!

Dollar stores are great for this. One year I made my mom a cooking bouquet with one oven mitt, a small dish cloth and two or three wooden spoons. I rolled the dish cloth and then tuck it with the spoons inside the mitt. Then I tied a bow tightly around the oven mitt. It looks a bit like a bouquet.
