I managed to rip the trousers off of one of my suits at work today. There is a small tear about 2-3cm long and some frayed bits. I just wondered whether I should bin the suit or is there anywhere around that can repair suits? Any ideas??

Ask around at the office for a really good dry cleaners. They give work out to good seamstresses or have one there! Or you can look in your local yellow pages for seamstress/sewing. Those women can work magic, not to be racist, but Asian women are especially good! Your best bet is to ask around!

A good dry cleaner or tailor should be able to fix this invisibly. They use an iron on material on the inside to hold the damage back together.

The answer is SEAMSTRESS or TAILOR. Don't throw away a good suit because of a small tear.
