You can retain the color of the walls, and add some color to the room by getting some light green, peach, white cushions as well as curtains. The accents make a big difference plus are temporary changes. So in case you decide to go another way some time later, you can do so by making minor changes.

Peach could be interesting. So could a deeper mushroom. So could a very neutral purple bordering on grey. It depends on the green. You will want a shade that is as cool or as warm as the green (very important), and possibly even as light or as dark as the green.
