We set off some of those "mister" type home bug sprays. One did not mist, but instead resulted in a puddle of bug poison on our brick floor. Now my entire den smells like poison and I cannot get the smell out of my head! HELP PLEASE - any suggestions on how to get this odor to go away. I am concerned for our health!

It is a platform bed with a rectangle frame. Between the two sides of the bed, there are about 15 slats that go across where I put the mattress. The problem is that the two long sides of the frame have started to warp away from one another--I can push them back toward each other, but the wood is warped and they spring back, so the middle slats fall through. I'm wondering how to tie them together--with traction/tension--(aesthetics don't matter) so the slats won't fall through. I'm thinking of using a rope and knots--I can tie sailor knots, but don't know what design to use. Also, what is a non-stretch rope?

I've painted my kitchen cabinets, but even days later they still feel tacky to the touch. I've used quality semi-gloss paint (Behr -- I also painted the walls with Behr satin, no problems) and I cleaned and primed the surfaces ahead of time. The temp in the house has been in the 60s and 70s, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any suggestions or remedies?

My wife uses it religiously daily, and insists on the need for separate goop chemical for armpits. I insist that my Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Castile Soap, scrupulously applied body-wide, suffices as deodorant pitwise as well, and suspect that deodorant is a household myth perpetuated by cosmetics industries. Think so?

I have a couple of rooms where one wall meets the ceiling at a much lower point than another wall due to my vaulted ceilings. Can I put up crown molding in these rooms without it looking bad? Thanks!

the back. We do not have hard water we have a culligan water softener/ filtration system to take care of that. The rust stains we think came from the water line? How do we remove these stains with out harming the porcelain inside the bowl. Thank you for any help with this.

Hello, I have been informed that my Glow Worm 24Ci requires a new diverter valve and actuating motor. I've been told the cost to source, buy and install these will be £540 (inc. VAT) but this is as much as it would cost me to buy a replacement boiler. Unfortunately I'm in Australia right now, and have let my South London flat out to tennants, so I have no way of even knowing if the boiler is broken, or my agent is misleading me. Does the cost sound right to you? All help gratefully received. JJ

I recently installed a new gas hot water and recently noticed water is seeping up through a hole in the top of the jacket that is an alternate location for a pressure relief valve.I checked all my soldered connections and found no leaks could it be coming out around the connection that is screwed into the tank? Also, how hard is it ti remove the top of the jacket cover? there are several screws attaching it to the bottom parts. If I could just raise it enough,I could check the screwed in connections.
