Throw away your current shower curtain and get a new. Also, pick up a daily shower cleanser found in the cleaning isle. Spray your new curtain daily or after each shower and you should remain Moldless!

Mold on shower curtains is usually caused by the curtain being open while still wet. After your shower, be sure to close the curtain all the way, so the water will fall off, and be exposed to light. You sould also clean it regularly with disinfectant.

When I finish taking a shower I close the shower curtain and allow it to dry. I don't have a mold problem, I also let it hang over the outside of the tub while drying.

Mould on your shower curtain is just a sign that you did not hoze down the curtain when you were finished in the shower. It is just the residue of shower gel and shampoo that wasn't washed off and it went mouldy. Take down the curtain and spread it on the table or flat surface and get a cloth with a little bleach and give it a god wash. It will be good as new when you are finished.

A good way and easy way to remove this mold is to take some bleach, add water to it and put it in a spray bottle and spray it on the area.
