BHG.com has a great slideshow of teen bedrooms. Click on the House and Home tab, scroll down to Topics in Decorating and there's a link for Teen Rooms & Dorms. I'll post the link, but it's long.

Since it's not for a small child, I would get the ideas from the teen.

What they envision for the room, what colors they like, what do they want to see in their room.

goes back to the old saying, if you want to know something ask a teenager.......they know everything!
