If it is the sink you are concerned with take the drain loose at the trap under the sink. That is really they best and easiest way to remove the clog. If your septic tank is full then you will have to call someone to have it pumped out.

avoid chemicals use a snake ( there is more than one way but a 'snake' does a better job than the devices that use pressure since it physically breaks up the entire clog not just part of it )

to do the best job use a small snake in the sink drain and then a larger one at an access point ( there will be a place on the pipe where you can remove a cover for access ) or just call ROTO ROOTER

Well, there's this instrument called a snake, and I use it to unclog my shower every once in a while (a lot of my hair falls when I shampoo). It has a long metal tube that goes down, and it rotates and makes all the accumulated hair cling on to the machine. I'm having a hard time explaining it, but that's how it works. Hope it helps :)

You can use chemicals, but remember that they will kill off some of the bugs in the septic system. These can be replentished with products like rid-ex. You can also try plunging and running a plumber's snake down the drain to unplug the drain.

Try a snake first, if this does not accomplish the job completely try a roto-rooter. This is a snake that rotates under elctro-mechanical power. These units can either be rented or call your local plumber.

You could always try the baking soda then vinegar combination. Sometimes the clog is too thick & stronger chemicals are needed or a snake would work too.
