I saw it today on my window and stopped the car and got out, then never saw it again but it's in there somewhere and I'm arachniphobic. It's important to kill it before tomorrow morning because it looked like one of those jumping spiders and if one lands on me I'm liable to wreck. I don't want to use a pesticide because of the fumes and it could damage the car's interior. I know spiders eat only live insects, not dead ones.

the fabric has a natural wrinkled appearance, an off white background with reddish flowers that have long stems. there are also tans, browns, pale yellow and olive greens making up an assortment of other flowers stems and leafs. The valances are separate triangles with a cream color tassel hanging off of each point. I think I purchased them last year but it could have been the year before. I am moving into a new house where the living room has an extra window. I know I could get new curtains but I just love these and would love to find another pair.

You know those small humidifiers that you put in kids' rooms when they are sick? Ours keeps getting this reddish mold (?) or something in it. I've cleaned off what I can get to and run it through with some vinegar mixed in with the water, but I can't get rid of it. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

Peonie bushes, climbing rose bushes, shrubs.....prune now or when? Also, should I plant potted Mums or let them winter-over in their original containers. It's already been fairly cold so far, does that make a difference? When should I cut the gras for the last time before Winter and how short? I have a green thumb but getting plants to grow needs additional help this time of year?
HELP !!

We had to pull our dishwasher out form under the counter...we're replacing it. Upon doing so, one of our floor boards (laminate) buckled up creating a tee-pee effect? Am I able to "flatten" it back out or do I need to replace the board by cutting and re-fitting a new piece? I'd prefer just "flattening" it if at all possible. Thanks for the help!

My niece gave me a brand new play seat thing for my baby. She never put her baby in it & left it outside. Yes, it was brand new and she did not appreciate it! The seat has mold or mildew on it (which ever one it would get from being outside in the rain). I have soaked it bleach, real bleach, not generic, and it hasn't come out.
Should I keep trying to get it out or just throw it away?

protected from getting shocked by a faulty appliance that is plugged into it? Why do I ask? well, This is what it says in the instruction booklet that came with my COOPER GFCI receptacle.DEFINITION OF A GROUND FAULT_ "Instead of following it's normal safe path, electricity passes through a persons body to reach the ground. For example, a defective appliance can cause a ground fault"------And the then it says the following right under that statement--> " A GFCI receptacle does NOT protect against circuit overloads, short circuits, or shocks. For example, you can still be shocked if you touch bare wires while standing on a non-conducting surface, such as a wood floor" WHAT???!!! (Doesn't protect you against shocks?) I thought that was the entire purpose of having a GFCI receptacle. If it doesn't protect you against shocks, then what did I buy one for? That was the whole idea in the first place. Now I'm throughly confused! If an appliance shorts out while I'm touching it,Do I get shocked?

We just moved into a new place with a number of rose bushes, some of them seem to have for a lack of a better word berries on them. I don't know if these are new flowers coming and I should leave them alone or if they are old and I should prune them off. HELP

I have a dog and a cat. NO allergies, just want to cleanse the air in my house.

I'm really interested in hearing about the air purifiers with the IONIC technology that emits negative (positive? i don't know) ions into the air.

Anyway, which air purifiers, if any, work well and cost little to operate (i.e. replacement filters, etc.)

((Personal experiences plz))
