I have a bunch of pictures that I really like, but I hate putting them in picture frames. It clutters up my walls and my desk space. Any other alternatives for displaying pictures?

get a fitted glass top for your kitchen or coffee table--put the pics on the table then cover with the glass. or buy a shadow box coffee table if you can find one

There is a Photo Screen that is very nice and not a cluttered look, you could also put a glass on your desk and place the photos under it. I saw a project where they used clear plastic sewn to a canvas and stretched to a frame then the plastic was filled with the photos, this way it was an artsy look and could easily be changed. You could also use wire twisted in spirals on desk "tree" to float the photos and again they would be easily changeable. A photo Rolodex may work for you as well, you fill it it sits on your desk and you flip it to change the picture as you wish it takes up about 6" desk space for the pedestal and is available at most art and framing stores. Good Luck!

My wife had me frame a cork board to display pictures.

She, like you did not want to dedicate wall space to all of the pictures she had but by having the cork board she could rotate pictures very easily throughout the year.

You can paint the cork, or even put material over it to match virtually any style room.

I was very pleased with the way it turned out. Good luck!

What a lot of people do (my own wedding included) is have a traditional guest book at the church (or wherever you're having your ceremony), and a fun alternative at the reception. That way, people can put their names and addresses in the guestbook, and write a note to you on your "alternative guest book." At our wedding, we did the framed and matted picture. I've also seen scrapbook pages (if you plan to scrapbook your wedding), Christmas ornaments (5-10 signatures per ornament, and then you can hang them on your tree every year), and even a skateboard! Really, you can pick any large object with at least one semi-flat surface that's meaningful to you or that is pretty and that you'd like to display - a plate, a wall-hanging, a large white pot to put plants in, etc. You could even have someone you know make you a quilt in your wedding colors (or buy one), and have people sign the quilt squares with fabric markers. OR, you could leave white, un-finished quilt squares out for people to sign, and then have someone combine those with pieces of fabric that are meaningful to you (pieces from your wedding gown, beach-themed fabric to represent your wedding, a piece of your mom or grandma's wedding gown, etc) and have those made into a quilt.

Try scrap-booking. They come in many shapes and sizes and can be stored in a bookcase until you are ready to take them out for display. Not only that, you can customize the pages to your specifications.

I've used bottle caps to make a border.
I've used macaroni & buttons .
Think of something to make a trim with & back it & cover w/ glass.
