If the problem persists I would snake it. You could either rent a small snake, or purchase a section of snake cord. If you don't want to snake it the plumbing under the sink is not complicated. Remove the trap from underneath the sink clean it out with a coat hanger or bring in a hose and spray into the opened trap, the pressure should force the blockage out, then reassemble, the only thing you would need is a pair of channel locks(wide mouthed pliers), and nylon tape. I hope this helps.

Yep. Make sure the wall switch is on Off and tape it in place. Pull the plug from the outlet. The circuit is now double dead. The new disposals reuse the power cord. Test the motor after switching over the cord by plugging it into a different outlet. Don't plug it in under the sink until installed and tested for water leaks. If OK then plug in, remove the tape and flip the switch.

If chemicals and all else fails...Vinegar and baking soda will probably un plug it but remember when working with vinegar and baking soda it makes alot of foam so be careful pouring it down your sink. First pour the baking soda and then pour the vinegar slowly and repeat..Hope this helps!!!

loosen the pipe under neath dump it out and put it back together you will need a bucket.then put 1cup baking soda and 1 cup viniger down drain to clean out. once you take that curved pipe off every thing in there will just fall out. i have found silver wear straws and just every thing in drains.you just need a pipe wrench.
