Trim the stems back to new wood. Cut them at a long slant to expose as much of the woody part to the water as possible. Change the water by using cool to cold water. You can also put them in a cool to cold area for a pick me up after you've done this. Change the water daily and trim as needed. Keep them out of direct sunlight and in cool area. Heat will make them droop. There are preservative packs you can pick up at the florist section of the grocery store or a florist my give you some, since they usually buy the preservative in large amounts and it is a loose power.

Try trimming the stems just a little and putting them back in the water with half of an aspirin in it.

The two previous answers work well and should be tried. In addition you can try putting a couple ice cubes in the water. Higher temps cause flowers to welt faster
