I know that my pond liner has a hole in it; the pond is about 4 feet deep when full, the leak is at about the 2 foot level where I have big rocks on top of the liner (I don't think the rocks punctured the liner, I've had the pond 5 years & have not had any problems up until now) & don't want to move them all to find the leak! Its a slow leak! With winter coming on shortly in MN. I don't want to bring all my koi inside & wait till the spring to fix the leak What can I do to find out precisely where it is? Someone suggested spraying milk around the edges to see where the leak is; not sure if this works for slow leaks! Any ideas would greatly be appreciated!

Thxs,

I washed some laundry. Most was dry and smelled fine, but the load included a couple of old, mildewed towels. Now EVERYTHING smells bad.

I'm up for trying anything as long as it won't ruin the clothes. Thanks.

Ants start to get into our house. Crawling in our wall, in the ceiling, and inside the house where they stay. I tried using chalk and it worked but after few minutes they have a new path to go to. I am so irritated with these ants.

I live in an apartment complex of 326 units. There is a full time maintanece staff of at least 2. I put in a request a month ago for A/C but it was never filled. The weather went cold so I didn't think to much of it. The request to get the porch light fixed took 3 days but the request to fix the dishwasher was put in over a week ago. So should I be a sqeaky wheel or should I wait a little longer?

I am on a septic system. I have a front-loading washing machine.
Lately, every time I open the door to the washer, I smell soured water. I also have to keep the sink stoppers in the kitchen sink because I smell soured water there too. I have tried foaming pipe cleaners, vinegar and baking soda, boiling water...What is the problem, if any, and how can I fix it?

When a hurricane happens, and you see house or roofs being blown off, I wonder why. Why don't people make houses out of bricks. Yeah maybe this will stop houses from being so destroyed. I bet if there is a house made of bricks and a house made of wood side-by-side, and at the same time they're both in a hurricane, I'm sure the wood house will sustain more damage than the brick house. Everyone says, wood is a good insulator, well what about houses in Europe, they're made of bricks, are you telling me the houses over there are not insulated?

My home is located in Harrison County, Ohio. It is 70ftx16ft. We were told we need to tie down the trailer because of Federal Laws but we have not been able to locate any information on a local, county, state or federal level. Any help you can give us to locate these specs or laws will be greatly appreciated. Tie downs are meant to hold a trailer down in severe weather and are meant to be a safety feature. THANK YOU!
