My home is located in Harrison County, Ohio. It is 70ftx16ft. We were told we need to tie down the trailer because of Federal Laws but we have not been able to locate any information on a local, county, state or federal level. Any help you can give us to locate these specs or laws will be greatly appreciated. Tie downs are meant to hold a trailer down in severe weather and are meant to be a safety feature. THANK YOU!

Look in your phone book and find mobile home-or manufactured home movers. They have to do the tie down when they set it up, usually.
Call them and inquire. I'm sure they'll be helpful.

Your "Builder" Installer would have to get that info, from the same place you can, specific to your area,,, The local Zone/Code office in a goverment facility.
