I think just washing and drying 3-4 times is about all you can do. The fuzz should decrease over time. Don't forget to clean out your lint filter on your dryer AND washer each time, to avoid a funky, mildewy build-up.

I went through this!!! Just keep washing them, with fabric softener, and dry them with softener sheets. But the trick really is - doing it several times. I got a beautiful set of thick black towels for Christmas from my Uncle. Every shower my husband and I took - we came out looking like we had fur! But now, they are perfect (after many washes and dries!). Good luck!

I agree with the above.....it can actually take years......I'm speaking from experience..........some towels are dreadful for "Pilling".
