what is the filament do in the reproduction of a flower?

In the flower it is the thin stemlike part of the stamen (the male part of the flower). Ask some harder questions--something challenging. Thanks.

The filament supports the anther that contains the pollen that is used used in reproduction.

the pistil is the seedbearing organ on the flowering plant.
