Right now it's one big jumbled up mess. It seems like I'm unplugging and organizing them all the time and a month later they're a mess again. Suggestions?

I found an incredibly well-made on at an antique store, but it needs to be refinished. I'd like to paint it and decorate it, but I'm not that creative. I would like it to look classic and feminine.

It is specifically meant for personal and home safety. Should not be lethal - hence free from hassles of licensing but have power to stun or immobilise victims; it should be simple and cost-effective enough to make, preferably on our own; it may use chemicals, minor explosives or electronic devices etc but should not be dangerous to keep it; also handy enough to carry around

I've been doing research on the "meanings of roses". I cannot find any information on a pale yellow rose (looks almost white) with pink tips. Does anyone know?

my brand new ceiling fan fell off the ceiling (don't ask) and broke right where the blade attaches to the fan. It is a metal fan blade attachment that broke. its not a normal looking piece and it sort of art deco looking. i asked someone to weld it, he told me he couldn't since it was chrome. i've looked high and low and can't find the part. the website tells me to go to home depot (apparently thier only retailer). home depot only sells standard fan blade attachments and not one like this one. anyone know what i could do besides buying another fan? it was a pretty expensive fan and was beautiful.

Today I tiled a kitchen wall and tomorrow I have to grout it. I'm going to be using Unibond "fix and grout", I have used it successfully before. I usually use a small trowel but it's still a messy job.

Does anyone know of any application tool which would make this job easier? I'm thinking along the lines of something which would extrude the grout into the gaps.

Failing that, does anyone know if you can purchase tile grout in cartridge form, for use with a mastic gun? I've tried my local DIY store without success and the B&Q website was spectacularly unhelpful.

Any help would be appreciated thanks!!

I had a bathroom added 8 months ago. From the start everytime you turn the faucets on in the bathroom, the water comes out white and bubbly for the first 2-3 sconds on both sinks. Do I have a problem? Please advise.
