got oak borads with a water stain on it how do i get it out

Depends on how bad the stains are. But if you boil teabags and let them cool down, place them over the stains in the wood. Wood will absorb the tannins in the tea and as long as they aren't really extensive, they should bring back the natural grain.

if the stain is shallow try sanding, if its deep you probably cant, consider a dark stain for the finish it may blend the water stain and hide it.

I heard that you can use baking soda and scrub the stain. Then rub a potato (cut in half) over it vigorously.

sand it back and start again, atleast then you can make it match the rest of you stuff.
