My front porch has a railing and mulberry bushes that every neighborhood songbird roosts on, and it creates a terrible mess. How can I prevent the birds from returning to the porch, save for following Mr. Twit's example and gluing them to the roof?

I got the water leakage from the bath room above my dining room. it had been checked for moisture, and the vinyl from the bathroom had been removed but has not been replaced. Now there is a yellow stain around my chandeleer about 8-10 inches in diameter on my dining room ceiling . I need an estimate how much it would cost to do it myself vs to have some contractor to do it.

I have planted along the back of my yard about 2 years ago Leyland Cypress Trees. Within this time they have grown a good 3 feet or more since planted. These are the kinds of trees that form a barricade for privacy as they grow tall and closer together. I need advice...should I trim the new growth off to force bushiness as they have become taller and not wider OR should I leave them alone and they will widen on their own? Any care tips from you guys would be appreciated! Thanks :)

So I have two of these plants, the lady who sold them to me said they were called Colombos. I just bought them last week. I water them twice a week, as instructed. They were both fine this morning. I have no idea what happened but suddenly one of them just collapsed. Here are some pictures.

This is the healthy one.

And this is the other one.

Due to a tramitic brain injury,I'm confined to this house. My wife now has to work and I want to start house keeping.I've been married 27 years and have always worked, and she raised 3 boys and kept house.I can cook with the aid of timers,my working memory is very poor and I burn stuff alot because I forget what I'm doing.I look around myself and I dont know where to start.I cant do more than one thing at a time because I get confused.I have mastered the kitchen, cooking(timers),dishes, and counters.I dont know what to use on the floors and the laundry needs to be done.My wife is sleeping and I dont want to wake her up.I dont think she ever dusted, how often should I dust? How often should I sweep and mop? What should I use on vynil floors?I am up @ 5 every morning and I'm ok till about 11,then I got to lay down.I really want to do good to help my wife, please, somebody give me a good routine.
Sorry for rambling.
