It seems that they're everywhere now. If I wait long enough, I eventually see one flying around me. What can I do to eliminate them from my home for good?

I live in Northern Ireland and every autumn I get some really huge monster spiders running around my house. I am terrified of spiders but also refuse to hurt or kill them. I have various devices to safely remove them and put them outside but is there anything that would keep them away, for example some kind of scented oil or plant. I clean and dust into all corners regularly so this isnt the problem. Please help - I'm turning into a nervous wreck !

I need to find a clasp that I can attach to leather cord. The problem I am finding is that most of these are either sterling or base metal which I am allergic to. Do you know of a solution of how I can attach a clasp to a choker of leather round cord? I need to be able to make it a specific length. This is my problem. Any solutions? I need some metal or other material that is not base meal and does not contain nickel.

Any solutions would be appreciated.

I woke up to go to the bathroom and felt something cold touch my foot. I turned on the light and found a very small snake on the floor. I have looked all over to find where he got in, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere for him to have gained access. (I am extremely thorough, so it wouldn't be anywhere obvious.) Let me know if you have any idea how he may have gotten in the house.

The main fuse, for all electric lights, blew, replaced it with 5amp, it blew again, replaced it with 15amp, fuse held and all lights are working except bathroom lights- I have checked all connectors, switch etc, they all seem to be working fine, and electricity is entering before the switch, as it shocked me when I accidently touched the red wires. Any ideas, thanks.

Recently, bought a new sugar jar and as it is not air-tight, lots of ants appeared in and round the sugar jar. Left the jar open to allow the ants to crawl out but later saw lots of dead ants still in the jar with the the sugar. How to separate the dead ants and the sugar?

I got this giant rat (maybe a foot long excluding tail) in my garage . I tried the big Victor trap with peanut butter, and it triped at least 5 times but no rat. I tried glue and nothing stick. I haven't use pioson yet, 'cause i don't want a death in my celing. I think an AK47 would be my last resort, on the rat that is.

we have two wires that are coming out of the back of it and no idea where to hook them up, we've wired it several times differently and we end up either having power to the plug but not the switch, power to the plug and the lights wont turn off, or just no power at all to the switch. We've come to a loss and need help.
