I have a red hibiscus plant in my front yard, but everyday I see large gapping holes appearing on the leaves. I suspect that it’s the work of snails, but it could be anything. Any advice?

I've inherited a very overgrown garden. Bindwind, ivy, ground elder - you name it I seem to have got it. The garden is pretty large (about 1/3 of an acre) with lots of large flower beds and mature borders. I just don't know where to start! I've been too busy to do anything over the summer and now it just looks like a jungle. When's the best time to tackle it? Should I let it die back a bit over the autumn and try and get on top of it over the winter or is that a waste of time until next spring? I'd also be grateful for any tips on how do I go about starting a job like this. There are lots of beautiful mature shrubs and trees in the garden that I would like to save, so I don't want go down a "scorched earth" route and I'd like to avoid using vast quantities of herbicides etc.

I've bought a steamer but the wallpaper seems to be superglued to the walls! Also, it's been painted over about 5 times with thick satin and I think some gloss underneath! What can I do to get it off?

And we just had a HUGE thunderstorm and I think we may have gotten hit by lightning. What are the possiblities of an fire popping up after I leave for work, which is 45 minutes away.....or am I just paranoid? I'm thinking about having my teenaged son stay home from school in case the house catches fire to save our animals.

I have a navy blue flannel blanket that my boyfriend washed with powder tide, or gain im not sure which, but its left white marks all over my blanket, which i didnt take much notice to at first, but when i actually make up my bed it looks horrid, any ideas how to get them out? i tried putting it in on an extra rinse but i dont think it helped much

i know the powder soap used to do this to my black jeans as well, we started turning them inside out before washing them, but never really figured out how to get rid of the soap marks.

Past attempts at sealing the shower have been unsuccessful. The sealant has come away from the surrounding tiles & developed balck mould. I want to remove the silicone, re-seal then add quadrant tiles to cover the gap, but there's so much silicone it would get in the way of the quadrant tiles if I don't get it off first.
