It seems that they're everywhere now. If I wait long enough, I eventually see one flying around me. What can I do to eliminate them from my home for good?

pour bleach down your sink and cover up the drain... and if there are some in your bathroom see if there is hair in the drain because they well make a net inthere and then you will end up with more fruit flies!! Just keep you dishes washed and don't keek any food laying around... make sure you throw out you garbage regularly too. You can also pour like drano down you sink too about 10 minutes after you pour the bleach... just make sure you cover up the drain!
Fruit flies like anything... fruit, old food, garbage etc!

The annoying sticky strip fly traps that are hung from ceilings would work. A crapload of venus flytraps would work too....and would be kinda neat to see.

Don't you have screen doors, and screen windows?? The hardware they sell this strips with glue. The little buggers, will stick they'll never fly again!!

if you have an insect sprayer in your house well... have a shot on them..without your fruit. or just get your lighter and light it above your fruit to let them burn or go far away...
