Unless you agreed to it at the time of your lease I would say no... that is not unreasonable especially if you work late in the evening. If you are renting this space is YOURS, and your landlord MUST obey the landlord tenant act.
look into the landlord tenant act in your area.. because that is NOT right at all.
Best of luck.

Don't try to be difficult on the legalities of simple requests. If I were the landlord and you raised a fuss over my asking you not to take a shower in my house after 11pm, I'd throw you out of the house. If we had a lease, I'd enact the 30 day notice of eviction clause that I put into all of my leases.
Talk to your landlord. Get on good terms.
It actually sounds like you are a teenager rebeling against your Mom and Dad. You should learn to grow up and stop trying to make the world do things the way you want them.
Good Luck.

You live in a small space situation. So everything you do will be under scrutiny.
Your landlord has asked you to be respectful of the time of the day for certain activities. Wouldn't you expect the same respect if you asked him not to mow the lawn at 7am?
If you're uncomfortable with being asked to respect his wishes, plan on moving. He's within his rights to enforce curfew hours. While you might be a late-nighter and sleep in the next morning, living as you do requires a mature attitude regarding mutual respect. You can adapt to this...

I would call your local attorney general's office and ask them to send you the laws pertaining to landlord/tenant relationships. They vary from state to state. I am just guessing, but I think if there is no stipulation about showering past 11 in your lease, he has no right to demand it. On the other hand, unless you are on a lease, he can probably give you a 30 day notice without any particular reason. Either way, he sounds like a demanding idiot! You might be better off looking for a friendlier place to live.
Good Luck!

This website listed is something that may help you. You select the state you are in and see what you can find about renter rights. I am pretty sure that is NOT legal for him to tell you that you cant shower after 11pm. That is just ridiculous. There are noise laws (or something like that) when you are playing music to loud, partying to late etc, but a shower....nope you are in the rights ...good luck!!

is it in your rental agreement,,if not then he cant say nothing to you about it..he might evict you over it..but then he would have a poor excuse for a eviction..you pay the rent right?..then he shouldn't be able to tell you want you can and cant do in your own home unless its in the rental agreement
there are times in a persons life when a late shower is necessary.

because you're diseased. Dis-eased with the/ your (self). The "diva" on your call shows how. It shows you care a lot more desirable how others pereceive your sexuality as oppose the your personality. this kind of dis-ease with the self frequently brings DRAMA (from different diseased people aka WANNABE DIVAS).

I don't see how it can be. Maybe if he added that to the lease or rental agreement though. I say shower all you want, better than you stinking up the place, right??

I believe you should take it as a request, not a stipulation. Can you not run the sink either? He should fix the noise problem if he doesn't like it.

well it might not be legal for him to ask it of you, but he is your LANDLORD and he can make your life really rough if he so chooses to.
