Draino or liquid plumer

hair gets caught around that stopper in the tub. It should unscrew or come apart some how. pull it out. If it's real bad, like mine was, I had to pull the ring you see where the water goes down. It takes a special tool that grasps the whole unit and you use a pipe wrench to twist it out. The hair ball was the size of a mouse and it took 30 years to collect that much. I removed it, and then put some caulk around the drain ring and reinstalled.
The tool looks like a dumbbell, about 10 inches long and made of aluminum or metal with a star pattern of both ends, different sizes.

If you are handy with tools take the trap apart in the drain. Most likely it's full of hair. It's very disgusting but that will most likely fix your problem.

Pour a cup of bleach down the plug hole, put the plug in and leave over night. Repeat if necessary.
Alternately use lemon juice/vinegar, but it will take a lot of lemon juice/vinegar, and you'll have to repeat it more often.

I use a wire clothes hanger and scrape all the gunk out of the drain.

For home remedies, you could use some baking soda, follow that, with vinegar so that it bubbles, let sit for a time and use hot water.
