It's brownish, looks like a spider, it's got long legs, body like a shrimp, jumps extremely high and quick, mostly found in basements. They creep me out!!

It's a Camel Cricket. My house had a ton of them in the crawl space. I've never seen a bug jump that high before!
I had to call Orkin to spray for them. They won't go away on their own.

would say a mole cricket unless it is one of those jumping spiders that live in basements. and yeah that does sound creepy, raid in the pump bottle. kills everything.

to get the correct answer, take one to your local university extension office. they have master gardeners there that will give you a positive id. good lick.

IT IS CALLED A CAMEL CRICKET I HAD THEM IN MY OLD HOUSE THEY ARE REALLY CREEPY!! I FEEL FOR YOU.
