My daughter had been complaining about difficulty reading books and it affected her qrtly exams. The Opthamologist examined and concluded that she has +5 (+0.5 cyl) in each eye. The prescription glasses are really thick reminds me of magnifying glasses (I think they are magnifying glasses). Her vision didn't improve much as she says it's still kind of blurry. Can someone suggest if this Doc is for real? If he is for real, what could be the reason for this acute problem? Will her vision improve over time or will she have to wear these glasses forever?

I will have to seek a second opinion on this as I am not conviced that her problem is addressed adequately.

Who takes there shirt off when they go to the bathroom? I saw the episode of signfeld were Jerry makes fun of george for takeing off his shirt when he goes to the bathroom.

I away though this was normal but it turns out not many people do it I guess. I saw this episode many years ago but I am asking this now.

Other note:
I do not use public bathroom for the #2 so I do not take my shirt off in public and I try to hold it as long as I can in public anyhow even #1. Just wondering.

I've been having this thing in the past few years. It's happened three times so far. The first was a shot, the second was a cut from a razor blade, and the third was having blood drawn.

Each time, I'm completely fine with the pain or seeing my own blood. I'll stand up (this is when most people pass out) and feel fine, but then about five minutes later I feel light headed, and then I pass out. Apparently i don't just go out, and then wake up like most people. Instead, my eyes roll back, my legs shake, my back arches, and I basically have seizure-like symtoms. When I wake up, my blood pressure is always extremely low, I usually cry fifteen minutes or so later, and then in a half an hour I'm fine.

It's normal for people to pass out from shots or cuts...but apparently it's not normal to seize up. Last time, as soon as I woke up the nurses aked, "Are you epileptic?!" So I know they recognised the signs as a seizure.

Does anyone know what's going on?

He left school a year ago to spend a couple years trying to become a professional golfer(he's really good). But he started smoking weed and now it's starting to sound like its all he cares about. Everytime I see him he tells me he's going to get high later. Do you think its going to ruin his dream of being a pro golfer and should I tell him?

I usually go to bed around about 10:30 or somtimes earlier or later depending on how tired i am, then i wake up around 5:30 and that is enough sleep for me; but for the last past month or even longer for some reason i have been waking up EVERY single morning at around 3:00 and i really wish i knew why. I just wake up and lay there a bit and fall back asleep, i dont get it, is there a reason why im waking up? It also takes me about a half an hour and usually longer to fall asleep i hate it..

What's the science behind becoming a grippy white rubber bod'?
Is there like squillions of mini suction pads for gripping your legs to a vinyl seat? This is a legitimate question!

I know a few people, usually girls, with deep scratchy voices. It always sounds like they have laryngitis. What causes this? It's their normal everyday voice.

Think Rita Cosby.
