The dresser was in a leaky basement and got wet. It's a terrible smell.

You can have it steam cleaned professionally. this is expensive
or you can wash it with a diluted solution of 4 tablespoons bleach and 1 gallon water and air dry in the sun then spray with an odor neutrilizer like "Renuzit" or Orange Oil.

Take wet coffee grinds and sit in anything as not to come in direct contact with the wood and just let it sit for a while to absorb the odor then clean with murphys oil soap after! Peace!
