Who takes there shirt off when they go to the bathroom? I saw the episode of signfeld were Jerry makes fun of george for takeing off his shirt when he goes to the bathroom.
I away though this was normal but it turns out not many people do it I guess. I saw this episode many years ago but I am asking this now.
Other note:
I do not use public bathroom for the #2 so I do not take my shirt off in public and I try to hold it as long as I can in public anyhow even #1. Just wondering.

i take my shirt and shoes and socks off. Feels more natural.

It obviously makes sense to untuck a shirt while conducting the stated business. However, removing one's shirt in full is an unusual activity. I might myself remove it if the weather is insanely humid and I need to cool down (with the bathroom being a private or semi-private place), but that's not my usual habit.
Of course, it makes no sense to humiliate those that do remove their upper garments for this activity. I would not hold Mr. Seinfeld as a paragon of virtue in this regard.

I take my shirt off if I'm going to be showering afterwards or getting into pyjamas. Also, if I'm having difficulties with #2. I don't know why. Maybe it's just someting to do while waiting for it to happen.
I know what you mean about public bathrooms. #2 ain't gonna happen. #1 is done crouching over the toilet seat, NOT sitting. (Good strength training for the leg muscles, anyway!)

I used to remove my shirt...I think it was just hot, but for some reason I stopped doing it.
I'm the same way...no #2 in pulic facilities and #1 only if I'm about to go in my pants.

The Seinfeld bit was just a gag. I'd think it would be rare behaviour. I suppose if you wear long shirts or tops it may be useful.

my cousin would always take her shirt off while she uses the restroom..i think it's weird..but..it's a habit of hers..lool

why would you take off your shirt? so it doesn't get wet or poopy? so it doesn't get splashed on when you wash your hands? this is new to me I'm afraid..
