Have you been under a lot of stress lately?? May want to consider an anti-anxiety med. Talk to your doc about it. Don't be embarrassed either. I work for a sleep doc and a lot of people come in with only that complaint.

Hey there, I had the same problem, now don't think I'm pushing Jesus or the Bible on you, but all I have to do is say a prayer asking Jesus for a restful nights sleep and I sleep like a rock, hope it helps. Sleep tight. Martie @};-

trust me dont use books or go to fortune tellers. nightmarers happen when something is bothering you in your life.... you might not even know about it!! try to put your problems aside before you go to bed.. this is my trick, before i sleep i close my eyes and i think about everthing happy and nice,,, like a candle lit dinner on the eiffel tower with the love of my life, replaying the scene of my suprise birthday party last year.and if you like for example to cook ,then imagine yourself cooking step by step your favourite dish.. trust me IT WORKS!

depends on what they are about...try analyzing your dreams with this book : The Dictionary of Dreams by Gustavus Hindman Miller. It will give you great knowledge on what you dreams/nightmares are telling you to change in your life.
