So I recently finished a detox that lasted 40 days and then on the weekend I had a few beers.On Sunday morning I woke up feeling rough and my mouth feeling like the inside of Ghandi's flip flop (dry)!
I guess I have reduced all tolerance levels for alcohol which is shame cos I don't mind a few beers with the boys on a Saturday afternoon after a bit of rugby.
How long will it take me to get my required alcohol tolerance back to the required level,bearing in mind that I have a trip to Dublin in 8 days and cant still be a lightweight!

Oh yeah,if you are gonna start preaching about the evils of alcohol then rather dont answer.I am not an alcoholic and don't intend on being one,but like I said,I enjoy a few beers with my mates!

i have a daughter who is 1yr 2mths old she used to eat soil when ever she plays, she eats soil and people are saying she
lacks some irons in the body but i dont think she is ill because most of the kids eat soil. what could be the problem please help?

had a few past experiences like a tried to commit suicide,was saved but people around me say i was unconcious and sweared and said all those bad things ...i feel so guilty and ashamed that how could i do that as i had never uttered a single bad word all my life(but was around people who used to), though i just remember i was shouting like hell.....how should i overcome this??????? it's killing me esp at night. I know presently everything is going great with me but iam not able to go along with the good times coz of past........i feel so bad for myself.

Other addicts... drug addicts, alcoholics, gamblers etc are all treated like the scum of the earth & people are quick to either judge & condemn or to try & save that person from their dangerous lifestyle.
If someone is clearly addicted to food in a way that is making them unhealthy, we are less likely to bring the subject up or stage an intervention. Why are we insensitive to other addictions yet we treat the food addicted with such extreme sensitivity that we end up saying nothing? Is it not just as harmful to the persons health etc in the end?

I am 29. My palm, lower arm and two fingers all feel 'dead'. As though I have had pins and needles in them. Could it just be a pulled muscle? Fingers difficult to move. Im 29

I am planning a massive drinking binge over the festive season and was wondering if the purveyors of alcoholic refreshment would be selling them along with cut price booze. They would certainly save the NHS a fortune in alchol related liver damage over the holidays, and would make an ideal stocking filler for the problem drinker in your family

I only buy the 100% Cranberry juice because I know the added sugars of the others will neutralise the health benefits.

the prob. is whenever i face the or deal to someone such as my boss or with other formal person i cant talk to him in full confident MODE, my heartbeat beats too much and i feel like my heart will break in some secs. and for having this prob. i always miss many healthy oppurtunities etc... so please some serious answer expectingfrom you guys! So i went to the hospital tonight. I have been feeling very sick for over a year now. I went in with a paper of symptoms to see if they have an answer. faintish/weak, bug like crawling feeling on skin, shortness of breath, blurred vision/spots, fever, back pain, nightmares, heart palputations, teeth hurt/tired jaw, loose bowels. Anywho i was in there for 4 hours the doc took my paper and made a copy and didnt even look at it. They did a ekg and blood sugar test. 2 seconds after the test a women came in and said i was fine and that the other problems have to be looked over by a outside doc because they are not an emergecy. Why am i being overlooked? I am 24 and feel like im 90. I dont want to feel sick everyday anymore and no docs believe me! My outside doc overlooks me to! My family and friends dont even believe me because theres always something wrong. Im not a hypocondriac!!! I really am sick! What do i do? I really just wish i could die in my sleep. Im so fed up and tired of this.

If you where raped when your where young, would you tell anyone?
I was when I was 5, (now 16), and I've never told anyone. It bothers me and I feel like I need to tell someone, but I dont know who did it, I had blocked it out of my mind for so many years. Would it be even worth it telling my parents to such? Because theres nothing I can do about it now, and it makes me feel so hopeless.

its been growing in waves for about a year. it has always been the right size in terms of surface area but if you look at it from the side it is in waves. never painful and i really never pick it since its always funny looking. no discoloration
